Babui International School is a pioneering education community, with a mission to embrace and promote sustainability in all its forms.
During the Corona Pandemic, learners stayed away from school for a long time, so a negative impact is observed in the education system worldwide. It is now very difficult to hold the concentration during class time for learners. Moreover, many countries have already changed their education systems to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. In the modern education system, language, science, mathematics, technology, art, etc. are taught through fun and sports, so the learners learn by engaging in different learning activities.
With the experience of inquiry-based learning, the founders of Babui International School realised the need for modern education. After gathering knowledge from teaching abroad, our founders wanted to introduce inquiry-based learning with International Baccalaureate integrated with Bangladeshi National Curriculum (English Version).
Babui wanted to establish a learning environment along with a high-quality modern technology-rich school at a low cost for the learners. In the beginning, we started with primary education and gradually will continue with secondary and higher secondary education.
Our purpose-built campus has been designed with outstanding learning facilities. Modern-equipped classrooms, cool, shaded play areas, salt room, tech labs, art and craft spaces, and sports facilities that include a swimming pool are just some of the features available to Babui learners. Food technology labs and urban farming facilities provide opportunities to learn about sustainability.
We believe that learning is no longer confined to the four walls of the classroom or even to the school building itself.
Babui’s challenging academic environment motivates learners to be agents of change and helps them progress as solution-minded, critical thinkers. A wide-ranging programme of performing and fine arts, sports, and extracurricular activities complement our academic offerings. With differentiated teaching and learning, this whole-child approach promotes individual learners’ development and well-being.
The new National Curriculum is broad-based and flexible. A low faculty-learner ratio caters to the individual needs of the learner and contributes to a learning environment, which stimulates personal, intellectual, artistic, social, and physical development. The close interaction of all members of the Babui community effectively encourages the learners to achieve high personal standards of academic success, maximizes each learner’s potential and contributes to his or her total educational experience.
Furthermore, Babui International School adheres to the IBO philosophy, endeavouring to develop the individual talents of young people and teach them to relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the world outside. Beyond intellectual rigour and high academic standards, strong emphasis is placed on the ideas of international understanding and responsible citizenship, to enable Babui learners to become critical and compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners and informed participants in local and world affairs, conscious of the shared humanity that binds all people together while respecting the variety of cultures and attitudes that makes for the richness of life.
