STEAAM Education

While the majority of people are familiar with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education initiative, Babui International School prefers to adopt the term STEAAM, which expands on STEM by including Arts and Agriculture (represented by the AA). It's important to note that this doesn't imply that Art and Agriculture replace the emphasis on the hard sciences, but rather adds a focus on creative skills, making learning more engaging and accessible across various subjects.

Freedom of Thinking

In a STEAAM curriculum, learners are provided with the freedom to think critically, evaluate situations, and determine the best approaches to complete their projects. The goal is not solely to achieve success or avoid failure, but to cultivate the thinking processes and problem-solving abilities that learners develop through their project-based learning experiences. The learning environment encourages the notion that making mistakes is acceptable and that failures can be productive, fostering a mindset of embracing risks and engaging in experimentation. Learners have the flexibility to progress at their own pace and according to their skill levels, exploring both fundamental and intricate concepts, and pursuing new ideas through an open exchange of thoughts, free from intellectual constraints or fear of failure.
